FAQs
When should we book a senior session?
Most seniors book 3–6 months in advance, especially for popular summer and fall dates. Booking early ensures the best availability, lighting, and seasonal options.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are typically held around Freeland, Midland, Saginaw, and Bay City but I travel throughout Mid-Michigan. We’ll choose locations that fit your senior’s personality — city, nature, stadium, or studio-style looks.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions last 1–2 hours, depending on your chosen collection. That gives plenty of time for outfit changes, location switches, and relaxed creativity.
How many outfits can we bring?
You can bring 2–4 outfits. Mix casual, formal, and activity-based looks (sports, hobbies, or school spirit) for variety and storytelling.
What should we wear?
Wear what feels authentic. Solid colors and layers photograph best — avoid large logos or distracting patterns. You’ll receive a style guide after booking with tips and visual inspiration.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
Yes. I work with trusted local stylists who specialize in camera-ready looks that still feel natural. Hair and makeup can be added to any session upon request.
How soon will we see the photos?
Your proof gallery is typically ready within 2–3 weeks after your session. From there, you’ll select your favorites for editing, printing, or digital download.
What happens if it rains?
If weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. I track forecasts closely and work with you to find the best alternate date.

Do you photograph anything besides seniors?
Senior portraits are my specialty, but I also take on select family, sports, and personal branding sessions. If you have something unique in mind, I’d love to hear about it.
