Meet Erick

I’m Erick Gillham, a professional portrait photographer based in Freeland, Michigan, specializing in bold, personalized senior photography throughout Mid-Michigan.

My interest in photography began with a desire to create images that feel different—portraits that capture more than a smile. Formally trained at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I combine an artistic foundation with dramatic lighting, creative locations, and a modern approach to produce photographs that reflect each senior’s personality, interests, and accomplishments.

For more than six years, I’ve worked to create an experience where seniors feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely themselves in front of the camera. Whether we’re photographing an athlete under stadium lights, exploring a downtown location, or creating something completely original, every session is designed around the person—not a standard set of poses.

As a father of six, I understand how quickly these years pass and how meaningful this milestone is for the entire family. Senior portraits should preserve who your senior is at this moment while celebrating everything they’ve accomplished and the future ahead of them.

Freeland is home, and I’m proud to serve seniors and families throughout Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, and the surrounding Mid-Michigan communities. My goal is simple: to give every senior an unforgettable experience and photographs that feel unmistakably their own.
